My Story:

I am a great dog that is handsome and friendly. Your children will love me because of my easy going nature and my talent with catching a ball. I am house trained so I hope that you will allow me to come in and enjoy being a part of the family, but if not I will be happy in the backyard as long as I get lots of love and interaction!

• Ideal type of home: We prefer a calm and settled home. We will be scared at first and may even hide until we get used to our new family. We need a lot of TLC to learn to trust our new family.

Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:

We were rescued from the Jackson City Pound.

My Story:

We were born to a feral cat so we learned at an early age not to trust humans. We have been in a foster home since we were rescued and have learned that humans are not so bad after all. We have been doted on and hope our new family continues to pamper us. We are very playful and hopeful that our new owners will find us soon.

Since I was brought in off the street, no one here really knows much about me; but as a breed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers typically have a bright and happy disposition and are known for being very intelligent. We have the courage to protect, a willingness to work, high alertness and WE LOVE WATER!
