Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:

I was pulled from the Vicksburg Animal Control Facility before the Great Flood of 2011.

My Story:

I was a temporary resident at the Vicksburg Animal Control Facility before the flood waters came rushing in. Thankfully, the nice people of Paws rescued me before we had to swim. You know, kitties and water. . . not such a good thing. But, they got us out in plenty of time and my new foster mom says that I am a wonderful lap kitty and ready to go to my permanent home -- if you'd like to adopt me contact my friend Leigh.

My Story:

My name is UGG. I have heard of people naming their animals after movie stars and political people, but a BOOT?!? I don't care what you call me, just as long as you CALL ME! I can admit, at least, that the boots are comfortable, and I should know because I have laid on a few of them. You see, I had a stylish and loving owner but the landlord said that I couldn't stay. So, here I am at MARL waiting for a new owner with some of those comfy boots to lie on. If you like your Ugg boots, you will certainly love me because I am just as comfortable to snuggle up with as they are. And, if you don't have any Uggs now is your chance; you will be the envy of the neighborhood!
