Meet Ginger
Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:It was a good day when I was rescued from a hunting camp in north Mississippi last November with my 8 puppies because the only thing I hunt is a cookie and lately, someone to care about me. My Story:I am very calm and social and I get along well with everyone because of my easy going demeanor. I also have the softest coat of any dog on the ARF farm and that may be because I like for someone to pet it all day long. In fact, I could be happy just sitting on your couch with you , while we bask in each other's companionship. If you don't believe just how wonderful I am, come find out for yourself. If you are looking for a younger version of me, four of my puppies are still available for adoption, but they are already larger than I. Come meet me today and you can vote on which ARF residence has the softest coat. Contact for Questions about Adoption:

Meet Rusty
My Story:I am a beautiful terrier mix who is very affectionate. I am house trained and love to snuggle under the covers or in your lap. I was in a foster home recently but had to come back due to my puppy tendencies. I am well-mannered when the folks are home but when they would leave me home alone I would get bored and chew on things that I shouldn't. I would love a family with someone home most of the time, or with a safe area where I could stay and not be tempted to make a sofa leg a chew toy. But, I am hopeful to find a fun family who will be a little patient with me until I mature and little and also enjoy including me in their daily lives and give me the loving life that I am missing out on now. I am a small girl, but large enough to be a great companion and good deterrent for any home intruders. Contact for Questions about Adoption:

Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:I was dumped on the door step of a Paws Rescue volunteer. My Story:No one knows why I was dumped because I am a great dog; healthy, good with kids, cats and I am very friendly. I was so happy when they realized how sweet I am and agreed to foster me until my new best friend arrives to take me to my forever home. I don't know why they dumped me but I am so happy to be loved again! I am super cool, loving and playful and I love to go on walks. My life has been one happy-tails moment after another since I arrived here but I hear that it is even better when I have someone who will love me FOREVER. That is the fairytale that I hope I receive. Meet Angelo
My Story:I must have been someone's kitty at one time because I was already neutered when I wandered up to a nice lady's home. She tried to find my owners, but was unsuccessful. I thought I found heaven because this nice lady took me in and cared for me. However, ... I was not happy with the fact that I had to share her with her five other cats. After a few months of not getting along with the other cats, she decided to have me boarded at a vet clinic until she can find the perfect home for me. According to this lady, I am super affectionate with humans. I enjoyed riding on her shoulder from room to room and I loved to sit next to her while she watched TV. She would throw toys for me to run after and play with but I never quite got the fetching part of the game down. Doesn't she know I'm not a DOG? After I finished playing with that toy, I would go back to her expecting her to throw more toys I could chase after. I liked to sleep next to her at night on the bed as long as the other felines in the house didn't join us. I want to be the "King" of the household and I don't like to share my human. I am hoping to get a forever home soon, ... one with lots of toys and TLC!! My Story:I was picked up off the streets as a stray and I was so happy that someone cared to help me because I was so hungry and very under weight. They have fed me well here and gotten me back in shape, but there are so many dogs and cats that there isn't much time for any of us to get much attention and affection. I am obviously a pure bred Weimaraner and also a beautiful girl, all the people here will tell you that. I will need a fenced yard to keep me safe and I hope to find a family that will give me attention and involve me in their lives.
