My Story:

My mom's name is Bella and she was rescued in southern Rankin County. She was pregnant and could not remain where she was dumped so we made some new friends at Hicks Veterinary Hospital. They took her in and took good care of her until she delivered. These people here are so nice that they have taken care of us until we were weaned and ready to go to our new homes. Now, mama is spayed and we are all ready to go to our new homes. We were all handled a large amount by children and, I must say, they are my FAVORITE type of person! So much fun and loveable!

Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:

I was a pregnant stray taken in by a Jackson Friends volunteer.

My Story:

I had my babies and they have all been adopted. Now it is my time to shine at the Adoption Center and find a proper home. I am an extremely loving and calm kitty. I like to jump down from my top apartment and explore my surroundings and play with the kittens and other cats. I really like to play hide and seek in a paper bag but when I do, the kittens jump on the bag and think they have me trapped. But I didn't fall off the catnip truck yesterday! I know how to get out and then I chase them for good measure. I love to be brushed and petted and I will not negotiate on this! I will head butt you and tell you to pet me NOW! If you are interested in more information about me, please contact Dell Zubkowski, Jackson Friends of the Animal Shelter, information below.

Owner give-up

My Story:

If you look Baron up in the dictionary it means "One who wields great power". My family loved me so much that they brought me to MARL to find my forever home. I am a very sweet and loving boy, I love to go on long walks and love to be around people. I have been given what most of my roommates have not, to be loved enough by my "First Family", to find my "Forever Family".
