  • Age: 1 Year
  • Sex: Male
  • Breed: Terrier mix
  • Color: Black & White
  • Size: Small
  • Neutered/Spayed: Yes
  • House Trained: Yes
  • Medical Information: Healthy
  • Interaction with Kids: Great
  • Interaction with Dogs: Great
  • Interaction with Cats: Great
  • Ideal type of home: My ideal home would be one with a fenced yard where I can safely lounge around in the sun outside and then after a nap on lawn, come in and have you rub my cute belly.

Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:

My rescuer fell instantly in love with me and had planned to keep me forever, but the landlord wouldn't allow it. So, I am the shelter waiting on you!

My Story:

I am one of the few very small dogs at the shelter, and it's kind of overwhelming to be here with so many giants. But, I get along well with everyone but noting is as comforting as having my own home and the love of my very own family. I love to snuggle under the covers and be a constant companion.

  • Age: 10 Weeks
  • Sex: Male
  • Breed: Labrador mix
  • Color: Black

  • Ideal type of home: I am such a happy little boy that I can be happy anywhere as long there is someone kind to love me and take proper care of me.

Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:

My mom is Bella, who was rescued in southern Rankin County, pregnant, and in an unsafe place. She made some new friends at Hicks Veterinary Hospital where they took her in, took care of her and whelped us. They have been so wonderful to make sure that we are all happy and healthy. Our mom was recently adopted (YEAH!) and we have been weaned and are ready to go to our own happy homes!

My Story:

We have all been well socialized with children and lots of people so we will make great family pets or a constant companion for anyone. We are just hopeful that wonderful people find us before we get too big and have to move from the vet clinic. We sure don't want to have to go to the shelter.

Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:

We were rescued from the Jackson Pound by Jackson Friends of the Animal Shelter.

My Story:

We have been in a foster home and were raised with other kitties. My name is Pewter and I am very reserved and shy but getting better. I love to nap in the condo and curl up with McDreamy. Hello, McDreamy here. I was given that name by a volunteer when I was little because she said I had dreamy eyes. I don't know about that, but I do dream of a real home for Pewter and me. You see, I love that girl. But don't worry, we are fixed. I love to play in the adoption center room with other kitties and Pewter is beginning to join the play sessions. I gather up the cutest toys when the other kittens are not looking and present them to Pewter in her condo. Please come to Flowood Petsmart and allow us to add fun to your life. We live in the display cage of the Adoption Center. If you are interested in us, please contact Dell Zubkowski, information below.
