Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:

When I was a wee-widdle pup, I was dumped in a box in Wal-Mart parking lot.

My Story:

I was in a foster home for a while, so I am house trained and walk great on a leash. I love other dogs and I always want to please my humans. In fact, I am very smart and I really enjoy being around people. I love to run, but my short legs don't run very fast, so perhaps a home with jogger would be better.

• Ideal type of home: I get a long a little better with male dogs than I do females, so if I were to have a doggie-companion please keep this in mind. Also, I don't mind being an outdoor dog but I will need a nice comforting dog house and I hope that the family will still include me in household events.

My Story:

I came to ARF in early 2010 as a puppy and I still have lots of puppy play in me and I love to run around. My pen mate, and best friend's name is "Scratch", you should see us play. I am healthy, spayed and ready to go to my new home.

Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:

I lost my way and found myself on the door step of a nice lady's house. She took me to Paws Rescue where I am being fostered in a volunteer's home.

My Story:

My name is Baxter and I am incredibly handsome. Nonetheless, even the most handsome among us can find ourselves homeless. Thank goodness for Paws Rescue for taking me in and ensuring my medical care, yummy food and a warm, soft place to lay my head at night. My foster home is great, but I would love to find my forever family -- soon!
