  • Age: 1 Year
  • Sex: Female
  • Breed: Mix
  • Color: Lady is brindle, Lacey is black and tan

  • Interaction with Dogs: Great

  • Ideal type of home: We can be adopted together or separately, either way we are just hopeful to find a home. Though we would love to come indoors some to enjoy being a part of the family, we would also be ok if we needed to be outdoor pets. We just want someone to love us unconditionally!

Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:

We are sisters that have depended on each other to get through a rough period of our lives. We were found on the streets trying to stay safe and search for food. We just didn't realize at the time what a wonderful day it was when we got rescued from that danger until we were safely at the ARF Ranch and our bellies were full.

My Story:

My name is Lacey and I can't tell you how thankful my sister and I are to finally be in a place where we don't have to always be fearful for our safety. We are both really friendly and sweet dogs who love to be around people and going on long walks on a leash. Lady has a slightly more quiet demeanor but is still active and playful, however she doesn't really care for cats but would be fine in a home with other dogs. I am friendly with everyone! The Ranch is a nice place for a bit, but we are ready now for someone to love us. Plus, each time a pet gets adopted from here it opens a spot for another pet to be rescued that may be in more dire need than we were. So, by adopting us, you actually helping several pets.

Bugsby needs a home!

Meet Bugsby

  • Where animal is located now: MARL
  • Name: Bugsby
  • Age: 11-12 Months
  • Sex: Male
  • Breed: Springer Spaniel Mix
  • Color: White with Brown Spots
  • Size: Medium - Large
  • Neutered/Spayed: No
  • House Trained: Yes
  • Medical Information: UTD on shots
  • Interaction with Kids: N/A
  • Interaction with Dogs: N/A
  • Interaction with Cats: N/A
  • Ideal type of home: My ideal home would be one where I can live primarily indoors, since that is what I am used to. I also hope that whomever adopts me will keep me forever because it is really hard on a family pet to be uprooted from all that is familiar and dumped at a shelter.

Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:

I had a loving home, and I'm not sure why but they took me to the pound and just left me. I have always tried to be a good dog; I am house trained, well mannered, gentle, and a very loving and sweet dog; I just can't imagine why they wouldn't want me anymore.

My Story:

The folks here at MARL don't know why I haven't been adopted yet because I am truly a great dog and will make a wonderful family pet. They say that I deserve a good home because I try so hard to be a good dog. I have been here since the beginning of July and I am concerned that the longer I am here, the less appealing I will appear to people interested in adopting. However, I can assure you that I am definitely worth the trip to the shelter because you won't be sorry that you adopted me. I am simply wonderful!

There is nothing in the world funnier than to watch a kitten playing; I can play for hours and hours with a string or jingle ball. I know I will bring loads of entertainment, amusement and companionship to your home if you just give me a chance.
