  • Ideal type of home: When you read our story you will understand why~ We need a quiet home without a lot of traffic through the house and a kind and gentle owner that will spend some time with us. We need to be adopted together and a securely fenced yard is a must.

Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:

We spent the first year of our lives barely existing in a backyard with very little human contact. We are learning that people are very nice but we are still unsure about ones that we don't know.

My Story:

Even though we are timid when we first meet new people, once we got to know our foster-mom and her pets, we became much more secure here. So, it won't be difficult for us to learn to love our new owners as long as it is a good match in personality. We don't need to go to a home with children because we are just so fearful of high-activity people. We aren't snappy or irritable dogs at all, just fearful. A stable and sensitive person would be perfect for us to help assure us that we are safe and well-loved. Other than our lack of sociability, we are great little dogs that will be great company to our new owner because we are healthy, house broken and spayed. We are just looking for someone to give us lots of love, patience and a secure home to call our own and you will watch us bloom. If you're interested in meeting us, contact Cathy Gatlin.

Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:

I was part of a group of dogs rescued from Carthage, Mississippi.

My Story:

I am a great dog that would make a wonderful backyard-buddy and I love to go on walks on a leash. My warm eyes will tug at your heart strings and my sweet demeanor is easy to recognize. Shepherds are known to be intelligent and loyal and I promise to be the same for you if you just give me a chance at a nice home.
