Meet Roscoe
Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:I lost my way and didn't know which direction to turn, so I wandered up to a home in Madison and set up residence in their flower bed. They were super kind to me, fed me for a while and put up flyers trying to locate my previous owners but no one came forward. My Story:I am a beautiful boy, very sweet and a little active. I am outgoing and friendly. My coat is very unique and I really stand out in a crowd. I am healthy but I've been diagnosed as heartworm positive. If you think we can be best friends, there are a few treatment options to help rid me of these yucky things. The Madison Ark will be happy to talk with you about how to get rid of them. Meet Jagger
My Story:I was brought into the shelter with my three brothers, Mick, Ringo and Starr. We would all make a great companion for any family because we are sweet, gentle and absolutely love people and other pets. If you look into my eyes, you will see that sweet, soulful look of love. One of my brothers has already been adopted and I heard rumor that he is already house trained and they say he is extremely bright, learning new tricks in no time! So, I'm sure that I, and my brothers, and can catch on just as quickly. Contact for Questions about Adoption:

Meet Charley
My Story:I am one of those dogs that no one can believe is still at the shelter. I am young (but out of the puppyhood stage), friendly, I love to play and go on long walks. I'm leash trained, get along well with other dogs and I absolutely love to play fetch! I really hope to not have to spend another lonely night at the shelter. Contact for Questions about Adoption:

Meet Sims
Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:I was removed from Jackson pound and placed in a multi-cat foster home before coming to the Petsmart Adoption Center My Story:I was in a foster home with lots of kitties to play with before I came to Petsmart. Yesterday my best playmate, Willow, was adopted but I am making friends fast with the new kittens. I am a medium activity level kitten. Not too crazy. Not too mellow. Just right. I love to be petted and to lick people's fingers. When you come to see me, I will let you know who I am by putting my paw out to pat you! I am also super stylish with my big green eyes and extra eyeliner around them. If you're interested in meeting me, please contact Dell Zubkowski, Jackson Friends of the Animal Shelter, information below. Contact for Questions about Adoption:

Meet Jewell
Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:I look and feel like a princess now, but I started off life as a starving, homeless mother with immediate, dire veterinary needs. Fortunately, fate brought me and Paws Rescue together. My Story:My foster mom worked with my social skills and commands and has had great success because I was so eager to learn. I quickly learned that people can be very kind and then I wanted to work even harder to make my foster mom proud of me. I am affectionate and loyal and I get along great with my other rescue friends and will get along great with other dogs as long as I am introduced slowly. They say that I am a joy and a pleasure to be around and that I have the biggest heart that can hold all of the love you can give! Please come visit me, I will prove to you what a wonderful dog I am!
