Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:

I was found roaming a neighborhood in Madison. They know that I must have had a home because I am obviously well cared for and declawed, but no one ever came to claim me.

My Story:

I am bold, fluffy, beautiful and a total sweetheart. I love to hang out on the screened cat-porch in the sunlight but I have to stay inside because I can't defend myself. I get along well with all of the other cats in the building and I love people. I am not used to a shelter, so I hope that someone will adopt me QUICK!

• Ideal type of home: I am a large dog who will need a large fenced yard, but also have the opportunity to come in a be surrounded by my family. I would be an ideal dog for a family with children because I am such a sweet and gentle boy.

Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:

I first came to the Madison Ark in 2009 as a stray. I was here until May 2010, when I was adopted by a family who promised to love me forever. Boy, were they wonderful! But, then they brought me back one year later because they were moving. I don't know why I couldn't go with them but maybe they had to downsize to an apartment, or something. I sure do miss them, but I am hopeful that another kind family will take me home soon. It is tough to know what a loving family feels like and then be dumped back into the cold hardness of the shelter.

My Story:

I am such a good ole' boy! I'm a big boy too, weighing in 108 pounds. I am sweet, loyal and I even know the basic commands. I am laid back and walk very well on a leash. I hope that someone will realize what a wonderful addition I would be to any family because I really am a good dog! It is a shame for good dogs to be wasted at a shelter.

My owner couldn't keep me anymore, and dropped me off at MARL.

I am a nice, small dog, ideal for an inside pet, but Jack Russell's need a good bit of exercise as well so I'll need a nicely fenced yard where I can run and play.

Can you believe it?!? As cute as I am, I was found wandering the streets!

My Story:

I was wandering the streets just looking for someone to love me. I'm still just a baby but I am learning how to walk on a leash and how to go potty outside. I am doing great and I really love all of the praises that they give me when I do the right thing. I have a slight urinary tract infection right now but I am on antibiotics and it should be cleared up very soon. I am looking forward to a new forever home; I will steal your heart so watch out!
