Meet Sam the Colonel
Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:I don't know what happened to my mama, one day she just left our den and never came back. I went out looking for her and didn't find her but I did find a place where a lot of little kids were playing. I thought they were SO cute, but they kept calling ME cute! Huh, I guess I found the right place to go. They played with me for a while and then when I wouldn't leave they called these nice people at Paws Rescue to come get me so I wasn't left to wander the streets. They placed me in a foster home where they have been teaching me how to sit and stay and be a good dog so I will get adopted and stay in a nice home. I hear that Paws charges an adoption fee of $100. If you ask me, this is a small fee to pay to bring such a large amount of cuteness into your home! Plus, you don't only get all of my cuteness, but I have also had my vaccinations and heartworm preventative! Contact for Questions about Adoption:

Meet T-Bone
Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:I was picked up off the streets as a stray but I know that I have a brighter future ahead of me if someone will just give me half a chance. My Story:I love to play and they say that I am smart and highly trainable if someone will just spend a tiny bit of time with me. Though I've never really been around kids before, they sure do seem fun to me. I think I'd love to run around the backyard and chase a ball or wrestle with them in the leaves. Meet Snoopy
Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:I came to the shelter as a tiny puppy and I have never known the love and reassurance of my own family or person, but I sure am ready to see what that feels like! My Story:I am a very sweet and affectionate boy. I am a little unsure about new dogs and new situations but I warm up quickly with gentleness and patience. Contact for Questions about Adoption:

Meet Samantha and Jane
Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:We have always been spoiled rotten and been constant lap-companion to our special person, but she succumbed to age and was forced to give us up for adoption because she couldn't properly take care of us anymore. These days, it is all she can do to see about herself; though we miss her, we understand. We just hope that our new family adores us as much as she does! My Story:We are very loving Chi-Weenies (that's Chihuahua & Dachshund, hee hee hee!) We are very cute and love to be doted on. Meet Kasha
Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter:I was removed from the Jackson Pound by Jackson Friends of the Animal Shelter and placed in a foster home, and then the nice people at Petsmart let me come here to be adopted. My Story:When I first came to the Adoption Center I was shy and wasn't quite sure what to think about these people staring at me through the glass. I have beautiful big gold eyes which contrast well with my shiny black coat. I am so much fun that you will want to take me home for sure! When you come for me, please make sure you buy lots of catnip mice because I LOVE THEM! The plain ones are OK but I really like the ones with little feathers on them. Oh, and don't forget a feather toy so you can play with me...and maybe a paper bag or crinkle sack...and perhaps a few jingle balls...and if you could only see the cat trees outside my cage. I sit and dream of climbing all over those things. But really, a hand to pet me would be the best gift of all. Contact for Questions about Adoption:
